- Abstract
The article discusses the traits for personal leadership roles in schools, teacher education programs, and Montessori organizations, as well as providing a vision for the competencies and values for children to acquire through Montessori classrooms. These include thinking boldly about their futures, acting in the face of uncertainty, and bringing others along. Other traits include creating order out of chaos, the frame of reference as the future not the past, and being action-oriented.
