- Abstract
Multi-angle and multi-band inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) fusion imaging technology can overcome the limitation of the imaging resolution by the transmitting bandwidth and the observation angle in a monostatic radar system. It is a new method to improve the two-dimensional resolution of ISAR imaging. Under the condition of wide-bandwidth and small-angle observation, the scattering coefficients of target vary with frequency. A multi-angle and multi-band ISAR fusion imaging method based on the geometrical theory of diffraction (GTD) model is proposed. First, the ISAR imaging signal model is established based on the GTD model. Then, the multi-angle and multi-band ISAR fusion imaging problem is transformed into a signal sparse reconstruction problem. Orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm is utilized to reconstruct the signal and achieve ISAR fusion imaging. The algorithm can improve the imaging efficiency while ensuring the ISAR fusion imaging quality. Finally, simulation experiments are utilized to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
