- Title
Adorno, (Non-)Dialectical Thought, (Post-)Autonomy, and the Question of Bildung: A response to Douglas Yacek.
- Authors
Bourassa, Gregory N.
- Abstract
The author shares view on the study regarding the applicability of Bildung literature to contemporary education. He examines how the concept became a persistent source of tension among philosophers including Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri, who criticize the dialetic, indicating that it leads to closure rather than openness. The author also suggests that Hardt and Negri's criticisms warrant consideration since they might offer valuable clues about the limitations of the concept.
