- Abstract
Objective: To explore the expression and clinical significance of BMP - 7 in preeclampsia kidney damage. Methods: 98 cases of patients with preeclampsia kidney damage from obstetrics and gynecology department from March 2012 to December 2013 were selected as the research object, and another 30 cases of healthy pregnant women was considered as controls. The concentration of serum and urine BMP - 7 protein and beta 2 microglobulin (β2-MG) in urine was detected by ELISA, 24 h urine protein quantitative determination was performed with benzyl cable chloramine turbidimetry. Results: ① Compared with control group, the concentration of urine and serumBMP 7 protein in the preeclampsia group was decreased significantly (P < 0.05); ②With the progression of disease, the concentration of urine and serum BMP 7 protein, the quantity of urine albumin of β2-MG was significantly increased in preeclampsia group (P < 0.05);③the concentration of urine and serumBMP 7 protein in preeclampsia group was respectively positively correlated with quantity of urinary albumin and β2-MG (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The serum BMP 7 protein is significantly reduced in the patients with preeclampsia renal damage, which can be used to evaluate the progress of preeclampsia renal damage, and provide guidance for clinic.
