The article examines antinomianism from Puritan perspective. Although traditional antinomians strongly oppose legalism, which is commonly associated with Puritans, the author believes that Puritanism has a room for antinomianism. The author agues that even Puritans reject autonomous application of creaturely strength and the routinized obedience to law's works in abstraction from the grace of Christ.
