- Abstract
Queer lives are and have been marginalized when facing global challenges and crisis. Even more so when it comes to aspects of flight, relocating and finding new territories to exist in. This paper tries to give a glimpse into border and migration studies from a queer studies perspective. Drawing on different concepts from recent research on border and migration studies taking a queer point of view, the argument is made that queer border poetics manifest in the moment of oppositions clashing, where fractions open up space to fit in non-normative narratives. Driving factor for this analysis is Mark Gevisser's concept of the Pink Line (2020) which deals with (new) queer frontiers influenced by a globalized and diverse world.
