The article presents case studies of isolated nevus flammeus (NF) presenting with many lesions arranged in a checkerboard pattern. A teenager presented with innumerable red and purple patches that had been present since birth on most of his body surface area. The second case is of an 8-month-old, female infant who presented with congenital large, pink patches on a background of faint cutis marmorata.
