- Abstract
The article discusses the hemichorea-hemiballism (HCHB) disorder. Topics mentioned include a description of the disorder which is characterized by involuntary movements on one side of the body due to involvement of the contralateral basal ganglia, link between HCHB and nonketotic hyperglycemia, and inclusion of the HCHB syndrome in the differential diagnosis of acute movement disorders.
