- Title
Estimating equivalence with quantile regression.
- Authors
Cade, Brian S.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of quantile regression in estimating equivalence. It says that confidence interval estimates and equivalence tests are based on a null hypothesis that a parameter calculate in an equivalence region. It states that the quantile estimates and confidence intervals devotes a more complete view of where equivalence is or is not happening for distributional changes. It adds that the use of confidence intervals aid in the provision of direct graphical interpretation.
