- Abstract
Corporate commitment refers the level of loyalty and commitment of the employees towards the corporate. Corporate commitment affects the employees' embracement of the organization's objectives and voluntary activities for the corporate. In addition, it enables the exploration of the employees' all abilities and knowledge. If the corporate commitment level of a company is high, it means that there are highly motivated employees in the company. In this interaction, there is a mutual benefit for both corporate and employees. In this study, it is aimed to be revealed the relationship between corporate commitment levels (as attitudinal and behavioral commitment) of the employees who work for newly established universities and the demographic characteristics of the employees. In this study, the data gathered from the employees is evaluated and tested based on the demographic characteristics of the respondents. The results indicate that some of the demographic features affect corporate commitment level, while personal traits has no effect on the corporate commitment level.
