- Abstract
The article focuses on the field of Jewish medical ethics. According to the author, Jewish medical ethics is a matter of topics and issues facing medical practitioners in Israel, including the observance of Sabbath. Moreover, several Jewish ethical and legal questions facing the practicing Jewish physician related to Sabbath are mentioned, including issues revolving around topics related to the beginning of life such as abortion, contraception, fertility testing, sterilization of males or females for medical indications, and stem cell research and cloning.
