- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an 18-year-old man with primary erythromelalgia as he was admitted to the hospital due to severe burning pain, oedema, and warmth in his lower legs. Diffuse blanching erythema and oedema and multiple ulcerations over the feet extending to the legs were uncovered in the physical examination. A necrotic ulcer and dilated capillaries with perivascular polymorphonuclear and lymphocytic inflammation were revealed in the skin biopsy.
