- Abstract
The author discusses a paper that focuses on departure of clinical pharmacologists and pharmacometricians from academic institutes in the U.S. He states that federal funding for biomedical research is not meeting the demand of research after 2003 and states that clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics demand more research funding. He also mentions that the American College of Clinical Pharmacology reflects on need of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics societies to address the issue.
