In this article the author is arguing on the assumption of American philosopher Laurence BonJour that coherence provide justification for beliefs. He states that coherence provides justification only when some beliefs have foundational justification. He presents three varieties of foundationalism that are given by BonJour including strong, moderate and weak foundationalism.
