- Abstract
The article offers information on the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling related to the replacement of rescale price maintenance (RPM) rule with rule of reason (ROR) approach in the U.S. It mentions that behavioral analysis reveals that rational manufacturers are likely to use RPM in pro-competitive or rationally anticompetitive circumstances. It offers information on the usage of fair-trade laws by states, that allows, manufactures to use RPM in the distribution system.
