- Abstract
A low profile omni-directional and circularly polarized one pair inclined slot microstrip antenna (ISMSA) and V-slot microstrip antenna (VSMSA) are proposed. The one pair ISMSA gives left-hand circular polarization (LHCP), right-hand circular polarization (RHCP), and nearly omni-directional radiation pattern. However, by modifying the inclined slots of ISMSA in the form of V, the antenna gives improved omni-directional radiation pattern with LHCP and RHCP. The design concept of these antennas is given and the experimental results are discussed. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
