Abstract
The article discusses trends in the world economy in relation to Ukraine in March 2007. Results for 2006 showed that the world economy grew 5.4% with significant contributions from the U. S., Europe, China, Japan, India and Russia and forecasts show a significant decrease in this growth in 2007 due to slower growth in the U. S. and Europe. With regard to Ukraine's key trading partners, the growth of this group showed an increase in 2006 but is expected to slow down in 2007.
