- Abstract
The article discusses the domestic legislative steps taken in response to corruption in Cambodia. Topics discussed include the positive effect of reducing corruption on the intrinsically linked areas of foreign-direct investment and poverty alleviation, the anticorruption laws of Cambodia along with the historic events that altered the country's institutional integrity. It offers suggestions related to amendment of the domestic legislation to create an anticorruption agency.
