- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 26-year-old HIV-seropositive who suffered painless, erythematous and indurated plaque over the left cheek for the past ten days. It notes that the patient has been in highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) for the last 18 months. It further claims that the patient has a type 1 lepra reaction in a HIV-seropositive as an exacerbation of a previously unnoticed leprosy after having HAART.
