The article presents a study which evaluated pesticides in wells associated with peach and apple orchards in West Virginia. The study made use of the gas chromatography to analyzed extracts for pesticides. The result of the study shows that there were no pesticides found in 15 of the 20 wells samples. It adds that two out of 20 wells were found to be contaminated with endrin.
