- Abstract
The article focuses on the remediation system for groundwater, which was designed using nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA II) and finite element model (FEM) for aquifer systems in Vadodara, India. It mentions the two objectives of the said system such as the minimization of remediation time and pumping and treatment costs. It also discusses the link of the objectives on the trade off or Pareto-optimal solutions, which had a discontinuity on the system's three design scenarios.
