- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 49-year-old Japanese man discovered to have a choroidal tumor with serious retinal detachment in his right eye which was later diagnosed as extranoidal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma of the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue type (MALT lymphoma) of the uvea. The disease is rare and diagnostically challenging. The patient underwent systemic chemotherapy using drugs such as rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone (R-CHOP).
