- Abstract
Magnetic induction through-the-earth communication realizes information transmission through quasi-static magnetic field coupling, which can effectively solve the problems such as unstable channel, short transmission distance and large antenna size in traditional electromagnetic wave communication. The magnetic antenna is small in size, high in sensitivity, not easily affected by electric field signal interference, and suitable for complex underground environments. Based on the basic working principle of magnetic antenna, the expressions of sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio are derived, and the optimized design of magnetic receiving antenna is proposed according to the influence of different parameters of magnetic core and coil on the receiving characteristics of antenna. Finally, the correctness and feasibility of the optimized design scheme of the antenna are verified by formula calculation and experimental measurement.
