The authors comment on a study published within the issue which evaluated the use of home sleep cardiorespiratory monitoring in very young children using a novel pilot sleep scoring algorithm to diagnose obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Topics covered include the safety and feasibility of collecting multiple respiratory signals in this population, and the data critical to age-specific polysomnography (PSG) interpretation that the study has provided.
