- Abstract
The authors respond to criticisms on their work on monitoring programs to detect declines in bee pollinator communities. They assert the value of monitoring and gathering baseline data as a prerequisite for the mobilization of resources towards conservation initiatives. They also address the issue of cost estimates for the monitoring programs.
