- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the photoperiodic control and daily insolation of tree development near the equator. It mentions that the annual course of tree phenology was reported as percentage of observations. It shows that flowering of tropical trees or synchronous flushing during short periods of declining or rising insolation, respectively, were observed at all tropical latitudes in several species of adult trees.
