- Abstract
The article focuses on a research concerning the potential use of ice in treating acute haemarthrosis in haemophilia. It argues that the clinical features of acute haemarthrosis after initial haemostasis has been attained are more linked to the inflammatory response to the blood in the joint space. An overview of the study regarding the use of ice to treat acute haemarthrosis is provided.
