- Authors
Wyllie, Michael G.
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insight on the review of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Advisory Committee on the possible use of Boehringer Ingleheim's flibanserin in female sexual dysfunction (FSD). He states that in drug development for FSD, every pharmaceutical company has consistently been up against. He mentions that in the two selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, flibanserin was broadly assessed for antidepressant activity in an earlier incarnation.
