- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the work values of teacher training students in a Spanish University. The two theoretical lines of the study were the Schwartz model and Meaning of Work (MOW) Study Group. The Schwartz model divides the values into two types namely, instrumental and terminal. The MOW study group differentiates between the five components of the MOW which include centrality of work, societal norms, results assessed, importance of work objectives and identification with the work function. After studying the perspectives of both the models, the correlation between them was calculated to find out that interpersonal value positively correlates with universalism and benevolence.
