The article discusses how to correct the perceptions of retail investors regarding securities arbitration in America as of 2014, and it mentions the fairness of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc.'s (FINRA's) arbitration forum, as well as pre-dispute arbitration agreements and the efforts to refine and reform the arbitration laws and processes in the U.S. Self-regulatory organizations (SROs), American securities laws, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission are examined.
