- Abstract
This paper aims to analyze from a sociocultural constructivist perspective, the educational practices of a teacher of transition from a rural school in the Department of Valle del Cauca and their interaction with their students. Educational practice was observed in the first two weeks of classes of the school year and conducted a semi-structured interview with the teacher in order to identify the conceptions and beliefs of the teacher on the objectives of the degree transition. Data using the microgenetic method by selecting the most significant episodes of teacher-student interaction were analyzed. The results demonstrate is a strong emphasis on school practices and teacher-student interaction. The lack of practical dialogic expression and active participation of children is highlighted. We suggest design educational programs that emphasize the placement of children in school so that they are provided a voice in the process of adjustment to basic education.
