- Abstract
This paper is a review and critical analysis of 20 data-based studies examining the effects of behavioral interventions with children and adolescents with brain injuries in the rehabilitation, residential, and educational settings. First, the selection criteria and article search methods that were used to locate the studies are described. The procedures for each of the studies are then discussed. The studies are evaluated along several dimensions related to experimental control and are discussed for their significance to both the brain injury and behavioral disciplines. Future areas of research are also proposed. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
