- Title
Which Grace? Which Tradition?
- Authors
Hefner, Philip
- Abstract
The author reflects on the issue of exclusion. He presents an analogy between the claims of Ku Klux Klan on freeing black slaves and a U.S. Senator's argument on the rights of terrorists. He argues that every person deserves a kind of acceptance and an unconditional grace under God's teachings. The author also ponders on the polemic in Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) against gays and lesbians who receive blessing and ordination in church.
