The article discusses the Victorian Supreme Court Case Skilled Group Ltd v CSR Viridian Pty Ltd & Anor in which the defendant Pilkington PLC was accused of selling its Australian operations to CSR Ltd. It states that Skilled Group Ltd. who was in contractual relations with Pilkington commenced proceedings against CSR and Pilkington on liquidated damages. The court reviewed the case and did not accept an argument by Skilled Group Ltd. on denial of binding contracts with Pilkington.
