The article discusses the results of a study of the abundance of Northern Leopard Frog or Lithobates pipiens in an isolated pond in Coconino National Forest in Arizona from 2007-2011, with emphasis on the presence and prevalence of Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (BD) in these species. Topics mentioned include the egg mass detection in 2008, the correlation between BD prevalence and winter breeding, and the occurrence of metamorphosed frogs in 2011.
