- Abstract
Abrasion injury of foot is a common wound, it especially occurs in sports because of the friction between foot and stocking or shoe. To quantitatively study the friction of sweaty foot sole in sports, four types of stockings with different wale densities were firstly fabricated by the stockings machine, and then the stockings with different moisture contents were obtained by using dryer and balance. Finally, the stockings with different moisture contents were worn by the volunteers and walked on the three - dimensional force platform to measure the dynamic friction coefficient of sole in the walking circle period. The experimental results indicate that: the friction coefficient increased then decreased when the moisture content increased. As the wale densities increased, the friction coefficient along warp direction of sole also increased. The friction coefficient of walking direction is higher than that of another orthogonal direction. Our experimental results will provide the experimental basement to the friction mechanism of sole in sports and supply design ideas of sole knitted structure.
