- Abstract
In order to evaluate the compressed air leakage in weaving workshop of textile mill accurately, the air-jet loom in a weaving workshop of a textile mill was tested. It was found that the leakage of compressed air was serious and mainly concentrated on the pressure regulating box valves, oil filters, intake valves, nozzles and the internal interfaces and nozzles of looms. The total leakage was 161.5 m³/min. Through the calculation of specific power, it is concluded that the loss of energy consumption caused by leakage is 6.457 million kilowatt-hour electricity per year, and the economic loss is as high as 4.52 million yuan. Different plugging methods were adopted for different leakage. It is estimated that 38.04 million kilowatt-hour electricity and 22.63 million yuan can be saved annually after plugging.
