- Abstract
The aim of the study is to research effect informatioanal counselling programme on the level of high school 11th grade students' concerning irrational beliefs levels of university education and matriculation. This research is an experimental work which has control group pre-test, posttest model. In experimental group the 10 session informatioanal counselling programme that was employed, developed by the researcher.; in the same time in the control group, a placebo experiment was implemented at the same length. Concerning irrational beliefs levels of university education and matriculation of students at test and control group phase were assessed with irrational beliefs of concerning university education and matriculation scale. Mixed repeated measures of analysis of variance (ANOVA) technique was used in order to make the main effect of difference between test and control groups' pretesst posttest average scores significant after experimental procedure. There has been a significant main effect difference between average scores at 0.05. Findings made clear that informational counselling programme was influential in order to decrease the students' wrong beliefs about matriculation and university education.
