- Abstract
The article discusses the prevalence of Chlamydophila pneumoniae (CP) infection in patients suffering from glomerulonephritis (GN) associated with myeloperoxidase antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibody (MPO-ANCA). It explains the possible association between CP infection and GN associated with MPO-ANCA. It confirms the possibility that active CP infection could potentially enhance the risk of GN associated with MPO-ANCA.
