- Abstract
The article offers information on the study of cerebral oxygenation and cardiorespiratory stability in preterm neonates. Topics discussed include information on the regional oxygenation by the near-infrared spectroscopy; discussions on the transfusion of red blood cells (RBCs) for anemia of prematurity which leads to increases in regional oxygenation; and the information on the premature infants in need of transfusion trial.
