- Title
INTEGRATING CONSERVATION STRATEGIES INTO THE OVERALL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS.
- Authors
Yarwood, John
- Abstract
The article explores the integration of cultural conservation into the general development process. The two perspectives of cultural property concerning the buildings include the preservation and guardianship of the fabric of the object and the context in terms of the built environment and continuing urban activity. The article presents four case studies which illustrate key points in the belief that cross-fertilisation from urban planning will be valued by scholars and museologists.
