The author reflects on the history, reasoning, use, and necessity of a constitutional right to informational privacy as a privacy rights guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. It mentions the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the cases National Aeronautics & Space Administration v. Nelson, Nixon v. Administrator of General Services and Whalen v. Roe related to informational privacy. It also mentions that the U.S. Privacy Act can preserve the informational privacy of individuals.
