The article focuses on the West Palm Beach Library Competition in Florida, sponsored by the city of West Palm Beach. The four architectural teams invited to compete for a new public library design in downtown West Palm Beach were Merrill, Pastor & Colgan in association with Gensler, Michael Graves & Associates in association with PGAL, Rodriguez & Quiroga Architects with Léon Krier and Rafael Portuondo, and Porphyrios Associates. The location site of the competition is cited. It describes the design proposals of the four architectural teams. It discusses the criteria for the project.
