- Abstract
The article focuses on the historiography of Protestantism in Argentina. The author considers the study of this subject since the 1950s, cites the influence of authors such as Prudencio Damboriena, C. Lalive D'Epinay and Jean-Pierre Bastien and critiques some of their views concerning the role of minority Protestant groups among immigrants to Argentina. The author also cites his own doctoral dissertation concerning the history of the Anglican church in Argentina and reflects on the relationship between Protestant groups and the Catholic church during the 20th century.
