- Title
Campus Protests: The Kids May Not Be Alright, But They Are (Mostly) Right.
- Authors
KNAPP, THOMAS
- Abstract
The article discusses the growing campus protest movement against US support for Israel's war in Palestine, drawing parallels to the campus convulsions of the 1960s. The author expresses support for the movement's goals of wanting the US government to stay out of other people's arguments. They refute claims that supporting the movement means hating a particular ethnic group or supporting terrorism, stating that they do not hate any ethnic groups and do not support Hamas or the Israeli Defence Forces. The author sees the protests as a positive sign and believes they may lead to the end of US foreign policy offering unconditional support to Israel.
