The article presents a study that investigates the nanostructuring of alloys and crystalline metals in the U.S. Researchers did top-down and bottom-up nanostructuring approaches in molybdenum (Mo) alloys and they found that Mo could be engineered to both ductility and high strength. Moreover, they also discovered that Mo alloys are resistant to wear and heat and are suitable for materials with high temperature applications.
