- Abstract
The article offers several transition strategies supporting positive behavior and learning for children including children with a variety of special needs. One strategy refers to activity schedules which provide framework for transitions and make communication less stressful for children and teachers. Another refers to visual prompts which can help children learn to move from one activity to another. Moreover, other strategies include individual visual schedules, transition communication books and sequence trips.
