The article discusses what the author refers to as the U.S. marijuana industry's ongoing problems with conflicts between American state marijuana laws and the U.S. Federal Controlled Substance Act of 1970, and it mentions America's illegality and unclean hands legal doctrines. According to the article, 25 American states and the District of Columbia have legalized marijuana for medical purposes. Breach of contract claims and U.S. courts are also assessed.
