- Title
Assessing the developmental stress hypothesis in the context of a reaction norm.
- Authors
Swaddle, John P.
- Abstract
In this article, the author aims to provide a constructive analysis of how developmental stress hypothesis in birds is studied and framed to be used for future research. He states that there is a lack of clarity as to the developmental origins of the phenotypic variation under consideration. He emphasizes the importance of indicating what type of variation to measure when assessing the developmental stress hypothesis and proposes the need for repeated-measure methods.
