- Abstract
The article describes a surgical case of incessant ventricular tachycardia (VT) associated with a giant intramyocardial lipoma in a 34-year-old man. The patient's medical history is discussed, including the detection of a cardiac tumor in an abnormal chest X-ray when he was 13. His VT upon admission was suppressed with intravenous administration of landiolol, nifekalant and a high dose of sedative. Details on the surgical treatment administered with the man are provided.
